This morning, just before I woke up, I dreamt. I was in my garage at home, and a fantastic party was going on. The music was blissful, but the draw was the alcohol-- scores of people were coming to my garage, getting drunk, and leaving. I was standing next to Dan Aykroyd.

Once I was aware that people were only coming for the alcohol, I got upset. The music, it was vibrating through the cement floor, it was enlivening my garage. I turned to Dan and asked, "Why don't the people see what the music can do to them? Why must alcohol be the only guise under which people believe they can have fun?"

And Dan told me,

"Laura, it doesn't matter how we do it.
Everything will be fine, so long as we get them here
-if only for a moment-
to listen to the music."
